Grand Mille Lacs is a mid range hotel - don't plan on room service and definitely plan to wait on valet;-). It is NOT a new casino (pretty junky) but it is the 'only game in town' for many miles. The food in the buffet is fair to crappy and the burger bar is ok. The Grand Casino Mille Lacs Hotel is one of the largest casino hotels in the state of Minnesota featuring 494 rooms designed specifically for comfort and convenience. Our hotel property is a short walk from Lake Mille Lacs and features spacious luxurious suites and personalized service you would expect from a premier destination.

We were at Grand Casino on Friday night, 1-17-14 and decided to eat at the seafood buffet. I have to say that this is probably the WORST buffet that we have ever had. We paid $49.14 for what we expected to be good food, and the only food that we of ANY good quality at all was the desert, and that was not even close to the standard that we expected for the price. The crab legs were small and mushy, and none of the other food was very good either. We were extremely disappointed and when I expressed my concern about the quality of the buffet to the attendant when we left, I was just told 'sorry' and was advised that they knew the sea food was not very good, especially the crab legs. When we pay almost $50 for two of us to eat, we feel that the quality should be equal to that high price. The least that they could have done is offered a partial refund, or even a discount on future visits. Based on their reaction, there probably will NOT be any future visits. No wonder there was no one in line to get in and no where near the number of people visiting the buffet like there used to be.
